Some of the words I didn't know from that quote:
nescient----ignorant
meretricious---specious (seeming to be good, sound, correct, etc. without being really so.
retromingent---urinating backwards because of bodily confirmation . (honest to God!)
an animal that urinates backward, such as a lion
now don't say I didn't help!! I wonder if he really knew all of those words or if he had to look them up first!
